Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Finland Q3 2025: Performance Overview

In the third quarter of 2025, the navigation and maps app market in Finland showed diverse trends across the top five apps, as recorded by Sensor Tower.

Karttaselain - Maastokartta from AccelBit experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $13.6K in mid-July before settling at about $7.4K by the end of September. Downloads saw a high of 7.6K in early September, while active users reached a peak of 37.7K in early August.

Google Maps maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads ranging from 2K to 2.8K. Despite minimal revenue, the app boasted a substantial user base, with active users peaking at approximately 2.6M in mid-July.

Nautics Sailmate showed a declining trend in both revenue and downloads. Revenue started at $6K, dropping to $1.3K by the quarter's end, while downloads decreased from 3.1K to under 500.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic remained consistent in terms of downloads, ranging from 1.2K to 2.4K, though it did not generate revenue. The active user count peaked at 27K in mid-August.

Finally, Google Earth demonstrated a steady increase in active users, culminating in nearly 29.5K by the end of September. Downloads were stable, with a slight rise to 1.8K towards the quarter's end.
